A brief Introduction to my

Activism

Introduction

I (Hein Htet Kyaw) don’t align myself with any specific ideological movement; instead, I resonate with the values found within various ideologies such as: “Post-Left Anarchism”, “Egoism”, “Libertarianism”, “Marxist-Humanism”, and “Internationalism”.

  • Influenced by philosophers such as “Max Stirner”.
  • Influenced by anarchists and libertarians such as “Pierre-Joseph Proudhon”, and “Karl Hess”.
  • Influenced by independent thinkers and social reformers such as “Ambedkar”, “Periyar Ramasamy”, “James Baldwin”, “Chen Duxiu”, “CLR James”, “Selma James”, “Nawal El Saadawi”, and local figures such as “Thakin Soe” as well as “Venerable Ukkaṭṭha”.

Points of Unity

  1. I reject frameworks that constrain the liberty of an individual and its uniqueness.
  2. I strongly oppose any form of state-controlled economy—whether it’s the centralized planning seen in Marxist-Leninist regimes or the state-corporatist models associated with fascism.
  3. I’m against the spooks such as binary gender norms, nationalism, and any form of religious doctrine that suppresses individual autonomy and freedom.
  4. I support an intersectional approach and advocate for individuals freely associating with one another. In both economic relationships and broader aspects of life, I align with the idea of the “union of egoists”—a voluntary and cooperative association based on mutual self-interest.
  5. My activism is driven by practical solutions rather than political ideologies—I concentrate on what can be realistically achieved in the present moment. I’m open to collaborating with any non-authoritarian groups committed to practical, immediate actions to combat poverty and intersecting forms of oppression.
    • Universal Basic Income
    • LGBTQIA++ Rights
    • Secularism
    • Self-determinism
  6. I’m open to collaborating with universalist and cosmopolitan groups—whether they lean toward left-libertarianism or right-libertarianism—on these key issues.
    • Individual Sovereignty
    • Civil Rights
